Online Music Lessons

Welcome! I've been playing both piano and violin professionally for over 20 years, and teaching for 18. I truly enjoy cultivating a deep love for music in my students, and working with their specific strengths and weaknesses to find musical strategies that will work best for rapid, solid advancement in their musical journeys. I integrate music theory, technical exercises, ear training, and music history into lessons in order to build a strong, balanced musical foundation. Lessons are built around your personal interests--I'll listen to you, and take all your needs into consideration.

Lessons take place through Zoom or Facetime, and I'll provide a homework practicing sheet each week.

Student Testimonials

  • Adrianna is a wonderful piano teacher. She offers a balanced curriculum focusing on foundational technique, creative exploration, and mastery of fulfilling pieces. Most importantly, she helps me continuously challenge the boundaries of my musical comfort. As an adult student. I’ve greatly benefited from the structure and rigor she provides to progress steadily toward my goals, not to mention that the journey itself has been thoroughly enjoyable! I am grateful for her finely tuned virtual instruction and her patience in accommodating my unpredictable schedule. Without her, I wouldn’t be be enjoying piano as much as I do today. I’m sure she’ll continue to help me enjoy piano and music in general more and more. Thanks Adrianna!

  • I highly recommend Adrianna Svitak as a piano teacher. When I met her, I had already been playing music professionally for about 30 years. I was mainly a jazz player, but I’d had some classical training. I told Adrianna some of the things that were challenging me technically and she picked a piece for me to work on that not only helped me in the areas I was struggling with, but one that was inspiring musically as well. She took the time to assess my abilities and then pointed things out that enhanced what I already knew in addition to immediately correcting bad habits I wasn’t aware of. I felt my playing improve very quickly after the first couple of lessons. She is a great and thoughtful musician who is generous with her knowledge.
